FAQ

Questions we get on almost every call.

No sales-page spin — these are the real questions HVAC owners ask before they sign up, answered the same way we'd answer them on the phone.

I already use Jobber / HouseCall Pro / ServiceTitan / FieldEdge. Does this work with what I have?

Yes — those four are what we build around. We don't ask you to switch platforms or run a second system alongside your FSM software. Everything we set up reads from and writes back into the tool you're already using, so your dispatcher and techs keep working the way they always have.

Will the AI phone answering sound robotic to my customers?

No. It's built and tuned specifically for your business — your services, your service area, your tone. Most callers don't realize they're not talking to a person until we tell them. If it ever sounds off, we adjust the script until it doesn't. That's part of the setup, not an extra charge.

What do I actually have to do during setup?

Answer some questions about how you run your shop, give us access to your FSM software, and review the scripts and workflows before they go live. That's it. We do the configuration, the testing, and the installation. You're not learning new software or managing a project — you're approving the plan.

What are the cancellation terms?

Month-to-month after the first six months. Give us 30 days notice and you're out, no penalty and no retention call. Before that six-month mark we ask you to commit to the initial term because that's roughly how long it takes to fully prove out the setup — but we'd honestly rather earn your business every month than lock you into a contract.

How do you handle data security?

We only connect to the systems you explicitly authorize, using each platform's official API — we don't scrape data or store copies of your customer list outside the tools you already trust. Call transcripts and customer messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. If you ever want us to pull our access, that's a same-day request.

What happens when something breaks?

We're watching it, not you. Every automation we build reports back to us, so if a call isn't booking correctly or a text sequence stalls, we usually catch it before you notice. If something does slip through and you catch it first, you have a direct line to fix it — not a ticket queue.

Why do you only work with HVAC companies?

Because a setup built for HVAC — dispatch logic that understands drive time and tech skill, review requests timed to job completion, maintenance campaigns tied to seasons — is better than a generic version stretched to fit any industry. We've installed the same handful of automations dozens of times for HVAC shops specifically, so we know what actually moves the needle and what doesn't.

How does the 90-day money-back guarantee actually work?

Before we start, we write down the goals in plain numbers — calls answered, no-shows reduced, estimates closed, whatever applies to your plan. If we haven't hit those numbers 90 days after going live, we refund your setup fee. No argument, no fine print carve-out. It's in the contract.

I only have 2 techs. Is this overkill for a shop my size?

No — that's exactly who the Launchpad tier is built for. Smaller shops usually feel missed calls and no-shows the hardest, because there's no office staff to absorb the slack. You don't need ten trucks to benefit from not losing a $4,000 job to voicemail.

What does this actually cost, all in?

A one-time setup fee that covers building and installing everything, plus a flat monthly fee after that for us to run it, watch it, and report back. No hourly billing, no usage-based surprises, no "contact sales" pricing. The exact ranges are on the pricing page, and we quote your specific number before you sign anything.

How long does setup take?

Two to six weeks depending on the tier and how many automations you're starting with — Launchpad-sized setups move faster, Intelligence-tier builds with predictive maintenance and custom dashboards take longer. We give you a specific timeline before we start, not a range that quietly slips.

I've already tried some automation tools and they didn't stick. What's different here?

Most tools fail because someone signs up, gets a login, and never has time to configure it properly. We don't give you a login and a to-do list — we build it, test it against your actual call and job data, and turn it on. If it needs adjusting after that, that's our job to notice and fix, not yours.
